About the Thicket Subdivision
We are a small neighborhood of 253 custom built homes that were constructed by Partners in Building, Norwood Homes, and numerous smaller builders including Aaran Gabay, Jim Spillane, George Marshall, Monte Schauer, and Kurk Homes.
The Thicket homes were built between 1991 to 2001 with the square footage ranging between 2,463 and 5,334. The average home size is 3,400 and the average lot size is a generous 9,600 square feet.
The Thicket is located in the highly acclaimed Klein School District. School grades Pre K-5 attend Haude Elementary. Haude is one of the seven schools in the Klein School District to have earned an Exemplary rating and maintained it for many years. School grades 6-8 attend Strack Intermediate. School grades 9-12 attend Klein Collins High School. A bus service to all three schools is provided to the neighborhood.
The Thicket Subdivision is located near the Cypresswood and Candlelight Hills neighborhoods and can be accessed from Cypresswood Drive, Ella Boulevard or Mirror Lake Drive.
